Mineoís was a neighborhood meat
market founded in 1920 by John Mineo. He quickly earned a reputation for
making fine fresh Italian Sausage. In 1951, Mr. Mineo was joined by his
son-in-law, Ralph Sapio, and the meat market became known as Mineo & Sapio
Meats. In 1957, Mr. Sapio became the sole proprietor and maintained not
only the marketís name, but its reputation for the finest Italian Sausage
